Rhumb Resources acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we operate; we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their communities.

The Laura region sits the middle of Quinkan country; a region of outstanding heritage values and the way this dynamic cultural landscape demonstrates how Indigenous peoples adapted and modified their traditions, kin structures and practices to maintain their connection to country, culture and identity. Much of the land is heritage protected as it contains an unparalleled body of well-preserved rock art that is listed by UNESCO.

Indigenous Peoples will be critical partners and stakeholders in our Company and as we go forward. We recognise their profound and special connections to, and identification with, lands and waters and that these are tied to their physical, spiritual, cultural well-being.

We will work with them to protect those lands and minimise our impact going forward. We will work with them to preserve the amazing history held in the region.
